Giving Back

With my love of horses influencing 95% of my life decisions, when it came to doing volunteer work for college- it influenced my location 100%.  I chose to work with a local stable, Riverwood, in Tobaccoville where they see more than 90 people a week for “Horsey Therapy”.  I always knew horses were good for other things than my riding pleasure- they offer an outlet and a way for children & adults to concur many problems.  Whether students suffer from cognitive disorders or physical problems, Riverwood has a horse for you!  To be able to watch and help the students was incrediably rewarding for me and a valued experience I will always remember.

So whether you love horses, children or simply are looking for a way to give back to the community- Riverwood is well worth a look.  www.riverwoodtrc.org
