Jennifer James – Blogger
By sLogan, Friday, November 11, 2011When Jennifer first started the Mom Blogger’s Club, the oldest and second largest mom-blogger network in the country, she never slept. These days, her life is busy, but basic: “I mange my community, I travel a heck of a lot, which is fun, and I speak a lot,” she says. Jennifer began the club in 2007 when blogging was brand new because she wanted to connect with moms and women like her. “Since then it has taken off on its own: There's 15,000 members in there from all over the world,” she says. It’s this interaction with these members that has brought her from behind the screen to speak on panels at mom conferences, and larger arenas, like Blog World, UN Week, and South by Southwest. “I love it,” she says of speaking, “because it gives me the opportunity to really share what I know in a different way than just simply writing about it.”
